For 2008 outcomes for Matt Talbot apartments included:
87% of permanent housing residents were in permanent housing for 12 months or longer
100% of those able to work were employed within the first month of moving to Matt Talbot
100% of permanent housing residents were referred to community resources for services
95% of residents remained abstinent from drugs & alcohol
100% received support services during the first 30 days
100% of veterans received assessment and medical services from the Veterans Administration
Permanent Housing
In 2006, Benilde Hall opened Matt Talbot, a 12 unit
permanent housing apartment building for men who
successfully completed the Benilde Hall program.  The
men of Matt Talbot continue with aftercare treatment
while becoming mentors and role models within the
Benilde Hall community.
Matt Talbot Permanent Housing
Matt Talbot Apartments provide furnished safe apartments across the street from the main facility.  Men who
have successfully completed the Benilde Hall program can live in an apartment provided they pay rent, stay
clean and sober, participate in aftercare services and abide by apartment rules.
The apartments help extend the continuum of care to men in recovery for addiction and homelessness.
